My Approach



Sure, the Anti-Diet life sounds good in theory, but what does that actually look like in practice?
One of the most appealing things about diets is that someone is handing you a plan. If you do x, y, and z, you too can have the body of your dreams! It takes a lot of the decision out of the equation.
And it is incredibly misleading because it never works out the way it was supposed to.
But being anti-diet doesn’t mean blowing all plans and structure out of the window. We’re just going to go about it in a little bit of a different way.
Dieting takes a one-size-fits-all, very dogmatic approach to health.
The Anti-Diet approach understands that every body is unique, every life is different, and only you can create a plan that is right for you. So we are going to learn to let your body be the guide of what, when, and how much to eat, with built in flexibility to allow for life.
Is this a good fit?
This is for you if...
- You want to trust yourself around food
- You want to shift your mindset to be positive and more compassionate
- You are absolutely done with dieting and want to learn how to care for your body in a sustainable way

- You want to break the generational cycle of dieting and body shame and be an example of healing

- You aren’t ready to focus on overall wellbeing, completely separate from specific weight and body goals
- You are unwilling to challenge your current views on food, weight, and health
- You aren’t willing to put in the work necessary to find peace with food and your body
- You have an active eating disorder. Please work with a Registered Dietitian or Therapist that specializes in Eating Disorder Recovery.

Coaching is a collaborative effort. Be prepared to step out of your comfort zone, explore new ideas, and achieve the results you want. We will start with assessing where you are now, and where you want to be. Then we work together to set you up for success by updating your habits to work for you instead of against you.
All the information you get is specifically tailored to you, your situation, and your life!
If you’ve made it this far, all of this is resonating with you, and you’re ready to change your relationship with food and your body, you’re in the right place! Part of the application process includes a consultation which you can book here and have any questions answered and we’ll make sure it is a good fit.
We are not in-network with insurance, however, if you have any out-of-network nutrition benefits (ie. health savings account) you may be eligible for coverage. It is up to you to check with your insurance provider. *Note: I am not a registered dietician.
I am a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. I am also Life and Health Coach Certifiied through the Health Coach Institute, which is accredited by the International Coach Federation.
I suggest carving out 2 hours per week for 6 months to get the maximum level support however many are successful with closer to 1 hour per week.
There will probably never be a perfect time but the good news is that we aren’t about perfection here. And if you’re worried about the time commitment, you will learn how to make yourself a priority in a way that is easy, and easy to maintain.
Besides… you’re going to save a bunch of time but not obsessing about your food choices anymore!
Yes! Intuitive eating is about honoring your body and that includes choosing foods that make you feel good and avoiding the ones that don’t.
